Project Description
Renovation in Wokingham
Renovation in Wokingham.
This was a good one, 17th Century cottage in Wokingham, 50 cubic meters worth of rubbish was removed, previous owner had a word working shed in the garden full of timber. The roof had the old cedar tiles, there was actually daylight in the attic. We installed a complete new Spanish style roof we included the small Well also bringing it back to life.
Damp proofing in the sitting room was required due to the high levels of earth. New family bathroom and new Spanish style kitchen. We installed a new combi-boiler in the kitchen which left an open space upstairs linen cupboard, we converted this space into a very small 3 piece bathroom, with a kneel bath specially source from Islington London.
Rendered the chimney stack with a wire mesh to give it strength. Painted the entire outside and inside and new carpets throughout.
This property was another renovation we did in 1995.
