Attic Conversion Englefield Green

Well, we completely transformed this lovely semi detached house.  Damp proofing carried out, new kitchen, new bathroom and cloak room downstairs. A new turfed garden which brought the whole back alive.  Painted the inside throughout and outside.
The tricky part was the attic conversion, the head room was very limited. We removed as much of the chimney as possible installing gallow brackets to support the remainder, this is a good way to remove a chimney stack without opening the roof up.  This still left little room to squeeze the headroom in, we got it though building control with flying colours.

This property was another renovation we did in 1995, took 8 weeks.
